Privacy Policy for Crystal AI Identifier

This privacy policy applies to the Crystal AI Identifier app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by RIYAN ABDULAZIZ SULIMAN ABA ALKHAIL (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Device Information: Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), operating system, and device type.
• Usage Data: The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device (GPS).

2. Camera and Photo Library Usage Our Application requests access to your device's Camera and Photo Library. This access is strictly used for the core functionality of the app:

• Purpose: To capture or select images of crystals/gemstones for identification.
• Processing: When you scan a crystal, the image data is temporarily transmitted to our AI service provider (Google Gemini / Vertex AI) solely for the purpose of analysis and identification.
• Storage: The images you save in your "Collection" are stored locally on your device (and your personal iCloud if enabled). We do not store your personal photos on our own external servers.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services This Application utilizes Google Gemini (Vertex AI) to analyze images and provide information about crystals (e.g., name, rarity, price). By using the scanning feature, you acknowledge that your image data is processed by Google's AI technology. We do not use your personal data to train public AI models.

4. Third-Party Services The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. We use these services for app infrastructure, AI processing, and subscription management:

• Google Gemini / Firebase: For AI analysis and app infrastructure.
• RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions and in-app purchases.

5. Subscriptions and Payments Payments and subscriptions are processed via Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card information directly. Subscription status is managed via RevenueCat.

6. Data Retention The Service Provider will retain User Provided data (such as your saved crystal collection) locally on your device for as long as you use the Application. If you delete the Application, your local data will be removed.

7. Children’s Privacy The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our records.

8. Security The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
