• Camera and Photo Library: We request access to your device's camera and photos to capture or upload images of dashboard warning lights for AI analysis.
• Microphone: We request access to your microphone to record engine or car sounds for diagnostic purposes.
• Notifications: We request permission to send you local push notifications solely to remind you of scheduled car maintenance tasks.
• User-Provided Information: We collect the vehicle details you manually provide (Make, Model, Year), your maintenance notes, and the text you input into the "Mechanic AI" chat.
• Analytics Data: We use third-party analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports to improve app stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To analyze images, audio, and text using AI to provide accurate, vehicle-specific diagnostics.
• To schedule and send local maintenance reminders.
• To store your diagnostic history and car profile locally on your device for your convenience.
• To process premium subscriptions and ensure a seamless user experience.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing We do not sell your personal data. We share specific data only with trusted third-party services strictly necessary for the App to function:

• Firebase Vertex AI (Gemini Models): Images, audio recordings, and chat text are securely transmitted to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini 2.0 Flash) for real-time analysis. This data is used strictly to generate your diagnostic results. Under Google Cloud’s enterprise privacy terms, your data is not used to train their foundational AI models.
• RevenueCat & Apple StoreKit: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not process or store your payment details; all transactions are securely handled by Apple.
• Firebase: We use Firebase services for backend logic, analytics, and crash reporting.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: Your diagnostic history, car profile (Make, Model, Year), and scheduled reminders are saved locallyon your device using Apple's standard local storage. We do not store this personal data on remote servers.
• Audio & Media Files: Audio recordings are processed locally and temporarily sent to our AI provider for analysis. They are not permanently stored by us.
